Assessment of the intensity of erosion and accumulation processes in small rivers of south of East Siberia

The results of the analysis of the intensity of erosion and accumulation processes in the basin of river Kuytunka of the Selenga midlands of the Republic of Buryatia are discussed. Projected erosion of arable soils on the slopes of varying steepness is calculated for the south of Eastern Siberia. It was established an important role of steepness level and slope length as the primary energy factor in the development of soil erosion.
