The duration of the mating period of queens of Apis mellifera L. depending on the ways of reproduction

The analysis of influence of method of reproduction of queen bees on the duration of the mating period is done. The influence of mass of barren queens and ways of its reproduction, and fertilization on lengthening of the period of stay in the nucleus of bee females out of the queen-containing cells till oviposition is shown.
