History, state and priorities of scientific supply of plant industry at north-east of European Russia (for 150-th anniversary of S.N. Kosarev)

In 2012 there is 150-th anniversary of Sergey Nikolayevich Kosarev - founder and first manager of Vyatka zemskaya agricultural experiment station. His works formed the basis of agricultural science on the Vyatka region and were continued by the work of the staff of station, and subsequently, of the North-East Agricultural Research Institute and Falenskaya selection station. Today Institute and its subordinated Falenskaya selection station and Design Bureau are one of the largest scientific centers of Russia, which conduct comprehensive scientific studies. Under the contemporary economic conditions the application of scientific achievements is precisely the key moment, which ensures an increase of effectiveness and competitive ability of agricultural production.
