Analysis of the epidemic situation in cattle respiratory diseases of infectious etiology in the enterprises of the Ural region

Lung diseases of infectious etiology are often has character of epizootics and therefore present a problem for livestock, and are widespread in the agricultural enterprises of the Sverdlovsk region. Twenty seven percent of calves are affected by these diseases annually, and 5.8% of the animals died from the number of cases. When conducting research it was found that the mass disorders of the respiratory system in calves and disease outbreaks with respiratory symptom complex at many agricultural enterprises are caused by a virus of infectious rhinotracheitis of cattle (BHV-1) and by activator of pasteurellosis.
