The results of researches of scientists from different countries on the content of Decene acid (10-HAD) in royal jelly of Apis mellifera L. 10-HDA is a major index in the international standard of quality of royal jelly that determines the pricing of the product. Content of 10-HDA in jelly varies by geographic origin, association with bees forage quality. The change in the content of 10-HDA in royal jelly of honey bees and different breed of Apis cerana cerana F is specified. Royal Jelly of Apis mellifera L. and Far-east black bees was refered to premium content with 2.69% and 2.24% of 10-hydroxy-2-decenoic acid jelly respectively. Low quality Royal Jelly obtained from Apis cerana cerana F., where 10-HDA content does not exceed 0.97%.
