Timber industry complex of the Russian Federation at the present stage: definition, problems, management

The basic approaches to definition of a timber industry complex (TIC) are stated in the article; preconditions and conditions for maintenance of achievement of strategic targets of TIC, as well as organizational structure and set of methods and tools of state management of TIC are considered; changes in management methods of TIC during the different periods of forestry managementinRussia are analyzed.
