The studying on influence of nitrogen fertilizing on the activity of glutamine synthetase (GS), content of ammonia in plants and grain quality of spring wheat is lead. It is revealed that fractional application of nitrogen fertilizer in comparison with single entering before planting promotes activation of the enzyme GS. The increase of productivity of grain thus has made 60-210 kg/hectares depending on a variant. Nitrogen top dressing at booting and flowering phases improve the quality of gains of spring wheat: protein content in grain has increased by 3,4% in comparison with the control and over 1,6% - with single pre-seeding entering, crude gluten - by 10,6 and 6,0% respectively.
