The effect of different doses of nitrogen fertilizer and seeding rates in technology of cultivation of new covered and naked spring oat varieties under conditions of forest-steppe of a southern part of the Non-Chernozem zone of the Russian Federation on leached chernozem is studied. Covered variety Krechet is the best among the studied oats varieties which did not concede on efficiency to the standard variety Horizon. Covered oats Eclipse was characterized by smaller adaptive possibilities, therefore on productivity level has conceded to varieties of Krechet and Horizon. Increase of seeding rate from 4.5 to 5 million/hectare of germinating seeds provide significant increase of productivity of oats. It is shown that increase of norm of seeding under conditions of a southern part of the Central Non-Chernozem Region is economically defensible agroreception. Application of mineral nitrogen raised productivity of oat cultivars on 0,6-1,3 t/ha.
