The experiment was carried out on young growth of red foxes in age from 2 months to market. To study the influence of succinic acid at the micro picture of the liver in red foxes succinic acid in a dose of 5 mg/kg body weight was added into the diet of the experimental group in the first 10 days of each month. Material obtained after the slaughter was fixed at 5% neutral formalin. Paraffin sections of the liver were stained with Mayer's hematoxylin and eosin. Histological examination of the liver in animals of the experimental group compared to control shown a decrease of intensity of vascular pathological processes, restoration of trabeculae with the conservation of small droplets of fat, which indicates that the structure of the liver tissue is restored. Succinic acid has detoxifying, hepatoprotective action. Its use on the selected scheme reduces effects of negative factors on liver.
